About Me
I am passionate about the life-changing potential of psychotherapy. Trust, respect, and support are essential in building a successful therapeutic relationship. I aim to provide a safe and supportive space for my clients to reach their goals.
Individuals I have treated have ranged in age from their 20's to 70's. I have experience working with individuals from diverse cultural, ethnic, and racial backgrounds. I practice with an anti-oppressive, anti-racist lens. My practice is gender-affirming, queer-affirming, sex positive, and trauma-informed. My practice has included people suffering from depression, anxiety, PTSD, complex grief, racial trauma, gender dysphoria, and intimate partner violence.
After earning a Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University, I received training at the New York State Psychiatric Institute and gained experience in multiple psychiatric settings, including inpatient and intensive outpatient programs. I hold my license in clinical social work (LCSW) in both NJ and NY. I am an active member of the New York State Society for Clinical Social Work, the National Association of Social Workers' NJ Chapter, and the Center for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis of New Jersey. I currently practice part-time with Callen-Lorde Community Health Center providing treatment to folks within the LGBTQ+ community.
